Nature, as we know it, has always provided infinite possibilities for inspiration in art. In the past, inspiration would come from elements that could be experienced visually, but due to developments in science technology, even microscopic parts can now be used as subject matter for inspiration. Together with the development of natural science, visual images that were not available to us in the past were created and this helped to expand our imagination. Based on these experiences, we are able to create organic forms from a new perspective, a viewpoint that was not available to us before. There are organisms, such as cells, that pursue changes while complying to certain rules known as order and harmony within nature. The changes occur at each stage during the course of creation: growth, division and extinction. This course of change and the unpredictable nature of these organisms give rise to infinite creativity. The cell form was analyzed but not reproduced as it was seen. This was achieved by actively expressing organic movement of the cell, with its mysterious colour and its constant changing form, by using silicone. This material’s major component is synthetic resin, which has been the perfect material in expressing these constant changes. As a result, the spectator has developed an interest in the texture, materiality and transparency of silicone.
