Maria Eugenia Ramos - Argentina

Taking the sand with my own hands, wanting to keep it while it slips through my fingers. Its texture in my memories.
I try to find some own language, like the "Hornero" who builds his nest. I remember the afternoons played in the garden, with wood, earth, water and some eucalyptus fiber. I Find my land in a grain of sand.
To build even though it fades. To turn a feeble floor on one possible floor.To make the fragility something visible, from what lasts only an instant, something livable.

Maria Eugenia is living in Buenos Aires. She has a degree in advertising and technical journalism, and worked in communication for several years. She started worked in contemporary jewelry creating her own brand “Mukenia” where she sells unique design pieces in metal around the world. At the same time, she works in art jewelry projects are based on the human difficulties. Nowadays she is working with in her project “Impermanence” constructing pieces with sand of different places around the world to express the ephemeral and the movement of the life. Some of his works have been selected y/o presented in the Netherlands, Hungary, Spain, Switzerland, Portugal, Greece and China.
