Josephine Wood makes use of traditional materials such as gold, silver and precious stones in her jewellery. Her pieces are the result of a strong inspiration to Minimal Art and architecture. They combine dynamic formal qualities of sinuously, curving shapes with colour and textured surface finishes. The key to her art is simplicity, that comes through clearly in the linear, essential forms.
